Policies for working at NML
As we grow as a company it’s important that we are constantly looking at ways to improve. There has been a lot of change this year and to help things run smoother we have formalised some of our policies & procedures. Disciplinary code and procedure
This code serves as guideline to the employee with reference to what will be deemed as inappropriate conduct. It spells out how The Company will deal with any occurrences of misconduct and gives guidelines as to the disciplinary measures which may be imposed.
The company provides equipment, tools and resources to employees to enable them to perform their duties. The purpose of this policy is to ensure the proper use of such equipment, tools and resources to prevent unnecessary loss and/or excessive cost on maintenance expenditure to the Company.
Web-based Meetings Policy
Due to changes in the way NML employees work as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, web-based meetings have become common practice for teams to communicate on important matters. Hence the Company sees the need for a policy to stipulate best practices for conducting and attending or participating in web-based meetings.
The Company recognises that from time to time employees may wish to seek redress for grievances relating to their employment, their work, working environment or the relationships with their Managers. The aim of this policy is to ensure that grievances are addressed and resolved as quickly as possible. In most cases it will be possible to resolve any issue informally, however, where this is not possible, the employee may use the formal grievance procedure.
